In August 2021, there are two models of Chery QQ ice cream that simulate user usage scenarios were officially unveiled, namely Chery QQ Ice Cream-Tao Huanxi and Chery QQ Ice Cream-Lightning. Chery QQ Ice Cream aims to create China's "iCar" by integrating the high-quality cars and the "K-Car" category cars that are popular in Europe, Japan and other countries and regions, such as lightness, economy, practicality, and fun.
In terms of external design, the new car adopts a two-door hatchback design, which is small and cute. The front grille adopts a closed design, and the cute headlights on both sides are lit up in a "U" shape, which is highly recognizable. The body size is 2980/1496/1637mm in length, width and height, and the wheelbase is 1960mm. The rear taillights also present a "U" shape after they are lit, which echoes the headlights, and are blackened to further enhance the refined sense of the rear.
For the interior, the new car steering wheel adopts an exquisite two-spoke shape, and uses "iCar" as the logo directly. The shape of the center console is simple and well-defined, with horizontal and straight lines as the main form, and the large-size floating center console screen is quite eye-catching for it. Chery QQ ice cream-Tao Huanxi used the same pink + white color scheme as the appearance. It is expected that future mass-produced models will retain similar lively and youthful design ideas.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a drive motor model TZ160XFDM13A produced by Anhui Ruilu Technology Co., Ltd., with a maximum power of 20kW and equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack. According to CarNewsChina, the Ice Cream is expected to be priced from 30,000 yuan (RM19,375), making it slightly costlier than its rival that starts at 28,800 yuan (RM18,600).
